December At Golden Compass

So where to start off. . . hmmm well I just remember that during the month of November that I had gotten so used to imputing so many memos with Chris it was a hard pattern for me to get out of. To my surprise when I had gotten back from my little break away from mentorship I arrived to realize Chris had left to pursue his dream as a police officer. It surprised us all but we could only wish him the best and hope he did get his dream, but on another note I still continued to do pipeline but there was a moment when I was kind of feeling a bit sluggish that day Alex had a talk with me saying that " for whatever reason you have to do something don't just go in for the hours that you are required but go over that limit and if possible go home home and keep on brushing up on information to help you further in your job because true success will only begin to blossom when you put forth that effort". Then, like a timer going off something clicked in me that day and I was reminded why I chose to do Insurance as my topic. With everything coming me back to me I decided to confront Alex and ask him what the requirements would be in order to get my license to sell insurance. At first he seemed to have a troubled look on his face as if thinking "he's only 18 and wants to do insurance? it's not due able". So as we had continued our discussion at lunch he had decided to help me but only with me putting in the effort of paying for the classes I need to even consider taking this test. These classes will be taking approximately 52 hours of my time and will be costing me $200 of my own money. A small price to pay in my opinion for a small stepping stone in what could be a huge success for me later on in life. Well that happened and Alex just told me I have my very own goal to meet of imputing 1400 contacts on pipeline by january 1st! Of course this will be a challenge but I'm sure this is just a test to see whether or not I'd be more than willing to put forth that 110% of effort. So hopefully by the time I do my January blog I have paid for my license and I have finished imputing everything into pipeline.
